Just when you thought “makeshift memorials” couldn’t get any more pathetic

This one was actually planned to look stupid. 

The only thing that could’ve topped this? Teddy bears laying on the ground.

In a society without true religion, the human yearning to grieve, to do something, comes out looking like this.

Not pretty, is it? Godless narcissism and pointless moral exhibitionism never is.

If I ever get murdered, and a bunch of people do stuff like this to “memorialize” me — you have my permission to kill ’em.
