5 Feet of Fury

Kathy Shaidle's blog. Est. 2000

Another great review of my new e-book, Acoustic Ladyland

April 3, 2008 By admin

Steve says the book is too short — kinda like the author. Other than that:

Shaidle often amazes me with her wordcraft, and her ability to pack so much punch into small columns, articles or blog posts, and she considers this some of her best.

The first offering, ‘How I learned to stop worrying and left the Left,’ is Shaidle at her best. She exposes her past and is vulnerable and transparent in a terribly funny and charming way.

My favourite piece is called ‘Things to do when you’re dead.’ Shaidle writes often about death but the humour, wit, and wisdom in this piece remind me of my own sensibilities. This piece will either make you want to laugh or to cry, but it will evoke a response…”

Remember: if everyone who came to this blog every day bought a copy of Acoustic Ladyland, I could blog full time for the rest of the year!
