I, too, believe that Jon Stewart is “dangerous”, in the sense that he isn’t dangerous at all. He is the Monkees of satire, selling gullible young viewers the mere illusion of political engagement. Although I suppose that, since his fans are mostly “progressives”, that makes them easier for us to pick off in a real fight.
