Shaw Festival: now with 20% more Stalinists!

It’s bad enough that our taxes are wasted on an incompetently run annual celebration of a man who gave portraits of Hitler and Stalin pride of place in his home, and said things like:

“I think we ought to tackle the Jewish question by admitting the right of the State to make eugenic experiments by weeding out any strains they think undesirable.”  

This year’s lineup also includes a good play by a very bad woman, namely Lillian Helman, an unrepentant Stalinist even after the show trials.
