Profile in cowardice: “Frankly, Harper puts me off”

February 13, 2008 By admin

“Mr. Harper could have raised awareness of the injustices experienced by Hugh Owens, Scott Brockie, Connie Wilkins and a myriad of other fine Canadians — all whom suffered some form of State persecution for holding to politically incorrect ideas.  Doing so, I say, would have made the case that Stephen Harper was showing ‘a little courage.’

“And even as late as last year Stephen Harper — as the Prime Minister — could have shown ‘courage’ when Alberta youth pastor Stephen Boissoin was hung out to dry at the hands of the fascist thugs in Alberta Human Rights Commission.

“But Harper has unfailingly said nothing. He has consistently remained quiet. Frankly, he has shown time and again that he simply does not have the vision and leadership needed to be a man of ‘courage.'”
