“Seven Day Fool”: are people really this young and dumb?

I first heard Canadian singer Jully Black’s single “Seven Day Fool” in the lasik waiting room. I love it. Who doesn’t?

What I don’t love are the gushing “This sounds just like Amy Winehouse!” blurbs around the Net.

No dears, it is a little “like Etta James” and, even better, a very little like “Big Maybelle“.
