“What Freelancers Can Learn From Evel Knievel”

January 20, 2008 By admin

As part of my job hunt, I’ve subscribed to plenty of blogs written by and for freelance writers and editors. Most of these blogs are, frankly, mediocre, if not downright corny.

But I really enjoyed this fun, surprisingly thoughtful post and just felt compelled to share it. This advice may be just as applicable to bloggers and other communications professionals — or amateurs for that matter.

Looks like I have a neat freelance gig lined up for next month. Right now I’m prep-ing for a job interview this Tuesday; the job is 3 days a week which would be perfect for me (and for you, dear readers).

PS: thanks to all the folks who’ve purchased my new e-book. I just surpassed an impressive milestone in terms of earnings and downloads. Couldn’t have done it without you (and Mark).
