Anyone buying one of those new fangled Amazon Kindle
No, I’m not trying to talk you into getting one. (But thanks once again for doing your shopping through my links, everyone. The extra money is a big help right now.)
I’m asking because Amazon Kindle has a self-publishing program.
Now, I’ve got lots of misc. columns in my portfolio that aren’t available online anymore: funny stuff I wrote for the Toronto Star, for example, about getting my ears candled at a fancy day spa, that kind of thing.
I’ve thought about putting those together, adding some of my greatest blog hits, and self-publishing a book.
So:
Kindle self-publishing is an exciting possibility — but there’s no point unless my readers are the sorts who’d buy Kindles to begin with.
