Dalyrimple ponders the sudden rash of books on atheism & imaginary “theocracies”

Note that Judaism and Christianity are two-fold bastions: against radical Islam and the “cultural barbarism” that includes everything from embrionic stem cell tinkering to Paris Hilton. Atheism is only a bulwark against the former, and not a very solid one.
