I mean “nominated.” Yep.
I had no idea until I checked my stat log that I’ve been nominated in the Best Canadian Blog category in the 2007 Weblog Awards.
I’ve been blogging for over seven years, but never campaign for these things and never get nominated, let alone win. (That’s not quite true: every year, RelapsedCatholic made the Best Vagina shortlist for the Catholic Blog Awards, i.e., Best Blog by a Woman…)
Well, I screwed myself outta that great honour, eh? (PS: since I made the switch from the old blog to this one, my traffic has jumped an amazing 30%.)
Anyhow, Kate will win the Weblog Award again this year, but I have no shame (see above) so:
