Gawker is shocked to discover that, rather than chat about politics, Slate’s female writers, left to their own devices, talk mostly “about cleaning and babies.”
Equally shocking? Kids will say stuff they aren’t supposed to say:

She listed a bunch of boys. ‘What about the girls?’ I asked. ‘There are lots of smart girls, but they’re not the smartest.'” Boy, it is so hard to tell where the line between ‘honest observation’ and ‘stereotype reinforcement’ lies, isn’t it?
