Columnist Diane Carman slags the young “Taser this — Fuck Bush” editorialist. Some of this is ok, some is frankly incomprehensible, but if she really thinks people have only been reading the headlines since blogs came to be, she needs to recheck her time line.
Better points were there for the making: that printing the words “Fuck Bush” in a college newspaper is conformist, not courageous. That the young man didn’t write, say, “Fuck Al Sharpton” and would never dream of doing so.
Is this guy really “the future”? Only if the future belongs to the faux outrage of the dim-witted leftoid college boy — and alas, you know it does.
